This one-day workshop will focus on the 
outcome of key, city-related legislation from 
the recently concluded legislative session. 
You can learn about the impact this legislation 
will have on the day-to-day activities of cities 
and the dynamics behind some of the 
pertinent political decisions.

The registration fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch, handouts, and refreshment breaks.

Hotel Information:
This workshop will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel Austin North, located at 6505 North IH-35 in Austin. The hotel has extended a room rate of $109 single occupancy. In order to receive this special rate, your reservation must be made by June 2. Call the DoubleTree at 512-454-3737 or 800-347-0330 and refer to the Texas Municipal League room block. Self-parking is complimentary.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy: 
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is e-mailed to by June 2. No refunds will be honored after June 2, and no telephone cancellations will be accepted.

Confirmations will be e-mailed if you provide an e-mail address. Name badges and optional guest tickets you ordered will be mailed to all delegates registered up to one week before the workshop. REMEMBER—PLEASE BRING YOUR CONFIRMATIONS/BADGES AND TICKETS TO THE CONFERENCE. Check in at the registration desk to receive your final program. Only registered guests will be provided with a name badge.

Continuing Education Credits (CEUs):
Elected officials can earn credit toward a Texas Municipal League Institute certificate for participation in the Legislative Briefing. CEU forms will be available on site and on the TML Web site after the event.

If you require special assistance or have dietary restrictions, please let us know on the registration form. In order to respond to any special requests, we would appreciate as much advance notice as possible.

Dress Code:
The dress code for both events is business casual. Please remember that room temperatures vary and plan accordingly.
